March of Dimes “Mission: Healthy Baby”

Mission: Healthy Baby” is a partnership between the March of Dimes and the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary VFW to provide a free information and support program created especially for military families. The program helps pregnant military members or partners learn what they need to know and what they can do about:

  • Preconception care – what it is and when does it start.

  • Pregnancy – prenatal care, healthy habits, things to avoid, complications.

  • Premature labor – what are the warning signs.

  • Newborn care – bringing baby home.

Mission: Healthy Baby provides access to a variety of free, printed educational materials as well as a wealth of information from the March of Dimes Pregnancy and Newborn Health Education Center, reached through the March of Dimes web site at www.marchofdimes.com

The March of Dimes/VFW partners are asking your help to distribute “Mission: Healthy Baby”posters wherever possible to create awareness of this new program.

For personal questions or concerns, the military member or partner can email askus@marchofdimes.com and receive a personal, confidential response from a health information specialist.
